“Smart Connectivity for NDIS Participants, Councils, and Mobile Services”

"Connecting Assistive Technologies, Flood-Resilient Cities, and Life-Saving Connectivity."

IoT has built a robust foundation in the Internet of Things (IoT), successfully connecting over 100,000 mobile phone services for businesses, enterprises, and government organisations. This long-standing expertise now drives our commitment to delivering critical connectivity solutions that support vulnerable individuals, emergency services, and community infrastructure.

In 2016, our director faced a life-changing challenge: a diagnosis of Hydrocephalus, requiring brain surgery. This experience reshaped our purpose and led to the development of assistive technology that supports cognitive function, independence, and safety—especially in regional and high-risk environments.

Today, as a Registered NDIS Provider (Registration ID: 4-JOQVYC6), we specialise in Assistive Technologies (AT)that connect seamlessly into everyday care plans. Our flagship product, the NDIS Space Case, delivers 24/7 satellite-enabled emergency response and geofencing, specifically designed to protect participants in remote and unsupported areas.

Seamless, Global IoT Connectivity

At the heart of our platform is a dedicated Telstra-powered MVNO, ensuring access to Australia’s most reliable mobile network infrastructure.

IoT operates as an agnostic mobile carrier, partnering with 24 global telecom providers to ensure unparalleled connectivity worldwide. Unlike single-carrier solutions, we offer LTE, Cat-M, narrowband IoT, satellite, and LoRa-WAN connectivity—along with a full suite of traditional SIM and eSIM solutions—giving businesses, enterprises, and individuals the flexibility and seamless connectivity they need to power the most advanced IoT services globally.

IoT (ABN 47644828044) operates as a reseller, leveraging Telstra's 5G, 4G, and 3G mobile networks and infrastructure to deliver mobile services across Australia.

NDIS Assistive Technology

NDIS - Low cost assistive technology: under $1,500 per item

Low cost assistive technology: under $1,500 per item
Low cost items are:
• easy to set up and use
• available from local suppliers or general non-disability specific retailers.
The Core – Consumables section of your budget shows your low cost assistive technology
funding.
Examples include:
• continence products
• non-slip bathmats
• large print labels
• walking sticks
• basic shower chairs.

NDIS - Mid cost assistive technology: between $1,500 and $15,000 per item

Mid cost assistive technology: between $1,500 and $15,000 per item
Mid cost items may be more difficult to choose and set up on your own to get the best
outcome.
The Capital budget in your plan shows your mid cost assistive technology funding. This will
be a broad category. For example, your plan might say ‘Funding provided for wheeled
shower commode with a price range of $1500 to $3500.’
Other examples of mid cost items might include:
• a standing hoist
• a customised shower chair
• ankle-foot orthotics
• alternative communication devices
• some power wheelchairs

• pressure care mattresses

High cost assistive technology: over $15,000 per item.

High cost assistive technology: over $15,000 per item
High cost items:
• are complex and need an individual assessment to make sure it’s the right solution for
your needs
• need specialised knowledge or tools to set them up
• may be custom made for your individual needs
• generally need a quote, so we can include the right amount of funding in your plan.
The Capital section of your plan shows your high cost assistive technology support. It may
say the specific type of assistive technology you need to buy. It might also say ‘quote
required’ – your plan will explain this.
Examples include:
• a wheelchair custom-made for you
• some complex communication devices
• many prosthetics
• ventilators.

We've improved the way we fund assistive technology - NDIS Participants.

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

Improved livability

Housing that has been designed to improve ‘Liveability’ by incorporating a reasonable level of physical access and enhanced provision for people with sensory, intellectual or cognitive impairment.

Fully accessible

Housing that has been designed to incorporate a high level of physical access provision for people with significant physical impairment.

Robust

Housing that has been designed to incorporate a reasonable level of physical access provision and be very resilient, reducing the likelihood of reactive maintenance and reducing the risk to the participant and the community.

High physical support

Housing that has been designed to incorporate a high level of physical access provision for people with significant physical impairment and requiring very high levels of support.

Specialist Disability Accommodation. (SDA)

Specialist disability accommodation (SDA) is a range of housing designed for people with extreme functional impairment or very high needs. SDA homes are constructed to be more accessible for you. They enable better or safer delivery of other supports you may need. SDA usually involves a shared home with a small number of other people.
